Life Of Siobhan Rowlings Before Her Ex-Husband’s Arrest

Born and raised in the UK, Siobhan met Murray in the early 2000s, when he was still a rising star in the MMA world. It was love at first sight and the two got hitched soon after. However, their relationship was far from smooth sailing. Murray struggled with addiction and was often involved in violent altercations outside of the ring. Despite this, Siobhan stood by him and supported his career.

Former Husband Of Siobhan Rowlings, Lee Murray

Born Lee Brahim Murray-Lamrani, Lee Murray is a former mixed martial artist. Currently imprisoned at Salé prison in Morocco, Murray is a robber with Moroccan-English ancestry. He started his career as a professional mixed martial artist in 1999 with the “Millennium Brawl” event at Hemel Hempstead Pavilion.

Everything was going well for him when in 2005 Murray got run through with a knife during a brawl at British model Lauren Pope’s birthday party. After this his career sort of took a pause. In a desperate measure, Murray got involved in the 2006 heist.

Why Was Siobhan’s Ex-Spouse Arrested?

In 2006, Murray was at the height of his fighting career, but his involvement in a daring bank heist would quickly bring it all crashing down. Along with a group of other men, Murray had planned and executed a robbery of the Securitas depot in Tonbridge, Kent. The heist netted over £53 million (roughly $92 million USD), making it one of the largest cash robberies in history.

Murray was quickly identified as one of the masterminds behind the robbery and was arrested in Morocco, where he had fled with his share of the loot. He was extradited to the UK and sentenced to 25 years in prison for his role in the crime.

Siobhan’s Life After Murray’s Sentencing

Siobhan, meanwhile, was left to pick up the pieces of her life. She divorced Murray soon after his arrest and has largely stayed out of the public eye since then. However, her association with Murray has made her a somewhat controversial figure, with some people accusing her of being complicit in the crime.

Despite this, Siobhan has maintained that she had no knowledge of Murray’s involvement in the heist. In an interview with The Sun, she stated that she had been totally unaware of what was going on and that she was in shock when she found out about Murray’s arrest.

Since her divorce from Murray, Siobhan has largely stayed out of the public eye. However, she has been involved in various charitable causes, including supporting victims of domestic abuse.
